January 23, 2023: Gooding, ID 83330 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the American Falls Beavers (American Falls, ID) and the host Gooding Senators (Gooding, ID), saw American Falls's basketball squad hold off Gooding by a tally of 56-50.
With the victory, American Falls improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Beavers host Snake River (Blackfoot, ID) to play the Panthers in a 3A South East Idaho challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Snake River won 59-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Teton (Driggs, ID)
Next up, the Senators play the Filer Wildcats (Filer, ID) in a 3A Sawtooth Central Idaho challenge, on Friday, January 27. Gooding will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 66-59 league loss to Kimberly (Kimberly, ID).
