Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Austin Panthers (Austin, PA) and the host Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA), saw Austin's basketball squad hold off Oswayo Valley by a tally of 52-48.

With the victory, Austin improves its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cameron County (Emporium, PA) to confront the Raiders in a North Tier challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Cameron County won 69-41 in their recent league challenge against Galeton (Galeton, PA)

Next up, the Green Wave confront the Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA) in a North Tier challenge, on Friday, January 27. Oswayo Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record.
