January 23, 2023: Mondamin, IA 51557 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) and the visiting Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA), saw West Harrison's basketball squad knock off Exira-EHK by a count of 78-58.
With the victory, West Harrison upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Hawkeyes host CAM (Anita, IA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. CAM lost 62-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders (Coon Rapids, IA) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Exira-EHK will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 43-37 non-league loss to Ogden (Ogden, IA).
