January 23, 2023: Kenner, LA 70065 The John Curtis Christian Patriots basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls to 33 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
The Patriots now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jesuit for a 5A District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 24. John Curtis Christian will battle a Blue Jays team coming off a 52-44 league loss to St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA). The Blue Jays record now stands at 9-8.
The Swamp Owls (2-21) will now prepare for their contest against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record.
