The St. Monica Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Lancaster Baptist Eagles to 36 in the Crusaders league triumph on Monday.
The Crusaders now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Palmdale Aerospace Academy for a Heritage contest on Tuesday, January 24. St. Monica Academy will meet a Griffins team coming off a 61-56 league loss to Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 6-16.
The Eagles (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA). The Contenders enter the Heritage contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Faith Baptist triumphed over Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA), 86-29, in a league contest.
