The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals (Marcus, IA) basketball knocked off the host River Valley Wolverines (Correctionville, IA), 67-55 in Monday's non-league test.

The Royals (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Hawks go into the War Eagle test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn went down by St. Mary's (Remsen, IA), 60-50, in a league test.
