Iowa High School Basketball - Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union tipped by Akron-Westfield
December 16, 2022: Akron, IA 51001 The Akron-Westfield Westerners basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals to 52 in the Westerners league triumph on Friday.
The Westerners now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Sioux for a War Eagle contest on Tuesday, December 20.
The Royals (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian (Hull, IA). The Tigers enter the War Eagle contest with a 0-3 record.
