January 23, 2023: Kewanee, IL 61443 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL) and the host Wethersfield Flying Geese (Kewanee, IL), saw Annawan's basketball squad wallop Wethersfield by a tally of 65-36.
With the victory, Annawan improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Braves host Galva (Galva, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a Lincoln Trail challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-11. Galva won 47-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Stark County (Toulon, IL)
Next up, the Flying Geese confront the Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) in a Lincoln Trail challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Wethersfield will attempt to improve on its 14-11 season record. The Blue Bullets come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 52-48 non-league win over Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL).
