Kansas High School Basketball - Centralia topped by Valley Heights
January 23, 2023: Centralia, KS 66415 The Valley Heights Mustangs basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Centralia Panthers to 24 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Monday.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wetmore for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Valley Heights will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 49-9 league loss to Blue Valley (Randolph, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-12.
The Panthers (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hanover (Hanover, KS). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 12-0 record. In their last contest, Hanover prevailed over Washington County (Washington, KS), 52-31, in a non-league contest.
