Texas High School Basketball - Quanah overwhelms Memphis
January 23, 2023: Quanah, TX 79252 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX) and the visiting Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX), saw Quanah's basketball squad wallop Memphis by a tally of 54-26.
With the victory, Quanah improves its record to 18-8 on the campaign. The Indians host Clarendon (Clarendon, TX) to play the Broncos in a 2A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. Clarendon won 66-41 in their recent league challenge against Wheeler (Wheeler, TX)
Next up, the Cyclones play the Wellington Skyrockets (Wellington, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Memphis will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Skyrockets come into the challenge with a 19-8 record after their 57-23 league win over Shamrock (Shamrock, TX).
