January 23, 2023: DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL) and the visiting Vernon Yellowjackets (Vernon, FL), saw Walton's basketball squad hold off Vernon by a tally of 1-0.
With the victory, Walton improves its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Malone (Malone, FL) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Malone won 35-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty County (Bristol, FL)
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Bozeman Bucks (Panama City, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Vernon will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 45-42 non-league loss to Cottondale (Cottondale, FL).
