New Mexico High School Basketball - Las Cruces holds off Organ Mountain
January 23, 2023: Las Cruces, NM 88001 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) and the visiting Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM), saw Las Cruces's basketball squad hold off Organ Mountain by a tally of 34-33.
With the victory, Las Cruces improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldawgs travel to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Alamogordo lost 56-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM)
Next up, the Knights confront the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Organ Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 46-22 non-league win over Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM).
