Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) and the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Horizon's basketball squad knock off Desert Mountain by a count of 50-35.

With the victory, Horizon upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Firebirds in a challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Chaparral lost 44-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)

Next up, the Wolves play the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) in a challenge, on Friday, February 3. Desert Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
