Maryland High School Basketball - South Carroll tops Manchester Valley
January 23, 2023: Manchester, MD 21102 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) and the host Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD), saw South Carroll's basketball squad knock off Manchester Valley by a count of 41-27.
With the victory, South Carroll upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD) to play the Leopards in a challenge on Friday, January 27. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Smithsburg lost 44-25 in their recent league challenge against South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD)
Next up, the Mavericks play the Century Knights (Sykesville, MD) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Manchester Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
