California High School Basketball - Dougherty Valley nips Amador Valley
January 23, 2024: Pleasanton, CA 94566 Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA), 59-52 in a league bout.
With the victory, Dougherty Valley upgrades its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Monte Vista (Danville, CA) to play the Mustangs in a East Bay bout on Thursday, January 25. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 19-3. Monte Vista won 62-41 in their recent league bout against Livermore (Livermore, CA)
Next up, the Dons play the Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA) in a East Bay bout, on Thursday, January 25. Amador Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Gaels come into the bout with a 17-5 record after their 58-45 league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA).
