Ohio High School Basketball - East can't hold off Beechcroft
January 23, 2024: Columbus, OH 43205 The Beechcroft Cougars basketball team scored 77 points and held the host East Tigers to 76 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mifflin for a Columbus City - North contest on Friday, January 26. Beechcroft will battle a Punchers team coming off a 74-44 league loss to Northland (Columbus, OH). The Punchers record now stands at 5-9.
The Tigers (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH). The Panthers enter the Columbus City - North contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Linden-McKinley nudged Columbus International (Columbus, OH), 72-37, in a league contest.
