Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Highland Baptist Christian Bears (New Iberia, LA), 66-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Central Catholic upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA) to play the Lions in a 1A District 7 bout on Friday, January 26. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-6.

Next up, the Bears play the Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA) in a 1A District 7 bout, on Friday, January 26. Highland Baptist Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record.
