January 23, 2024: Hokes Bluff, AL 35903 The Hokes Bluff Eagles (Hokes Bluff, AL) basketball felled the visiting Westbrook Christian Warriors (Rainbow City, AL), 55-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Eagles (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Ohatchee (Ohatchee, AL). The Indians go into the 3A Area 12 test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Ohatchee thwarted Wellborn (Anniston, AL), 70-42, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Glencoe for a 3A Area 12 test on Friday, January 26. Westbrook Christian will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 78-76 non-league loss to Oneonta (Oneonta, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-8.
