Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR), 83-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Junction City upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Dragons travel to Ouachita (Donaldson, AR) to play the Warriors in a 2A Region 8 bout on Saturday, January 27. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 11-13.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Woodlawn Bears (Rison, AR) in a 2A Region 8 bout, on Thursday, January 25. Rison will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 59-46 league win over Ouachita (Donaldson, AR).
