Georgia High School Basketball - Temple crushes Lamar County
January 23, 2024: Temple, GA 30179 Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA), 76-54 in a league bout.
With the victory, Temple upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Central (Carrollton, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 18-3. Central lost 54-49 in their recent league bout against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Lamar County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 66-65 league loss to Jackson (Jackson, GA).
