January 23, 2024: Gowrie, IA 50543 The Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) basketball knocked off the host Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA), 75-65 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Indians (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Storm Lake St. Mary went down by Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA), 96-7, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire for a Twin Lakes test on Friday, January 26.
