Iowa High School Basketball - East Sac County tops Pocahontas
January 30, 2024: Pocahontas, IA 50574 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Sac County Raiders (Lake View, IA) and the host Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA), saw East Sac County's basketball squad knock off Pocahontas by a tally of 64-51.
With the victory, East Sac County improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA) to play the Jaguars in a Twin Lakes challenge on Friday, February 2. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Southeast Valley lost 70-51 in their recent league challenge against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA)
Next up, the Indians play the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Pocahontas will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 66-26 non-league loss to Northwest Webster (Manson, IA).
