Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tri County upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Trojans host Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE) to face the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, January 26. The Knights enter the game with a record of 5-8. Lourdes Central Catholic lost 60-21 in their recent non-league game against Auburn (Auburn, NE)

With the defeat, Thayer Central moves to 7-6 on the year. The Titans travel to Centennial (Utica, NE) to face the Broncos in a non-league game on Friday, January 26.
