Nebraska High School Basketball - Thayer Central holds off Fairbury

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) and the visiting Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), saw Thayer Central's basketball squad hold off Fairbury by a tally of 33-29.

With the victory, Thayer Central improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Heartland (Henderson, NE) to confront the Huskies in a C2 District 2 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Heartland lost 48-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Deshler (Deshler, NE)

Next up, the Jeffs confront the Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Fairbury will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 52-44 league win over Cross County (Stromsburg, NE).
