Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) and the host Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE), saw Thayer Central's basketball squad hold off Centennial by a tally of 43-40.

With the victory, Thayer Central improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Titans host David City (David City, NE) to confront the Scouts in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Scouts come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. David City lost 52-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Central City (Central City, NE)

Next up, the Broncos confront the Doniphan-Trumbull Cardinals (Doniphan, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
