January 23, 2024: Lawrenceburg, TN 38464 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lawrence County Wildcats (Lawrenceburg, TN) and the visiting Central Magnet (Murfreesboro, TN), saw Lawrence County's basketball squad hold off Central Magnet by a tally of 60-54.
With the victory, Lawrence County improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Giles County (Pulaski, TN) to confront the Bobcats in a 3A District 8 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Giles County lost 53-27 in their recent league challenge against Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN)
Next up, the confront the Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN) in a 3A District 8 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Central Magnet will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 50-48 league win over Marshall County (Lewisburg, TN).
