Oklahoma High School Basketball - Weatherford crushes Chickasha
January 23, 2024: Chickasha, OK 73018 Weatherford Eagles (Weatherford, OK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Chickasha Fighting Chicks (Chickasha, OK), 59-36 in a league bout.
With the victory, Weatherford upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Newcastle (Newcastle, OK) to play the Racers in a Western bout on Friday, January 26. The Racers come into the bout with a record of 9-7. Newcastle lost 55-33 in their recent league bout against Tuttle (Tuttle, OK)
Next up, the Fighting Chicks play the Clinton Red Tornadoes (Clinton, OK) in a Western bout, on Friday, January 26. Chickasha will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Red Tornadoes come into the bout with a 0-17 record after their 79-30 league loss to Elk City (Elk City, OK).
