Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Richton Rebels (Richton, MS) and the visiting Collins Tigers (Collins, MS), saw Richton's basketball squad overcome Collins by a tally of 43-35.

With the victory, Richton improves its record to 10-16 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to North Forrest (Hattiesburg, MS) to confront the Eagles in a 2A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-16. North Forrest lost 52-14 in their recent league challenge against Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) in a 2A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Collins will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 62-35 league loss to Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS).
