New Mexico High School Basketball - Organ Mountain overwhelms Gadsden
January 23, 2024: Anthony, NM 88021 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) and the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), saw Organ Mountain's basketball squad wallop Gadsden by a tally of 55-19.
With the victory, Organ Mountain improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 3 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Alamogordo lost 34-28 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM)
Next up, the Panthers play the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Gadsden will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Bulldawgs come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 33-28 league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
