The Poolesville Falcons basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Kennedy Cavaliers to 40 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarksburg for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Poolesville will meet a Coyotes team coming off a 53-49 non-league win over Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD). The Coyotes record now stands at 10-2.

The Cavaliers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Sherwood ran past Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD), 78-5, in a non-league contest.
