Maryland High School Basketball - Kennedy overwhelms Wheaton
February 2, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20902 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD) and the visiting Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD), saw Kennedy's basketball squad wallop Wheaton by a tally of 59-21.
With the victory, Kennedy improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 9-9.
Next up, the Knights confront the Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Wheaton will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 57-11 non-league loss to Einstein (Kensington, MD).
