Maryland High School Basketball - Paint Branch overwhelms Kennedy
February 9, 2024: Burtonsville, MD 20866 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) and the visiting Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD), saw Paint Branch's basketball squad wallop Kennedy by a count of 54-31.
With the victory, Paint Branch upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD) to play the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Richard Montgomery won 50-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Quince Orchard Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
