The Stringer Red Devils basketball team (Stringer, MS), dropped 51-43 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Leake County Gators (Walnut Grove, MS)

The Gators now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mississippi School for the Deaf for a 1A Region 7 battle on Monday, January 29. Leake County will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 44-41 non-league win over Louisiana School for the Deaf (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-10.
