Michigan High School Basketball - Traverse City Central holds off Petoskey
January 23, 2024: Petoskey, MI 49770 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) and the host Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI), saw Traverse City Central's basketball squad hold off Petoskey by a tally of 46-41.
With the victory, Traverse City Central improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI) to confront the Vikings in a Big North challenge on Friday, January 26. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Cadillac won 42-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Kingsley (Kingsley, MI)
Next up, the Northmen confront the Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) in a Big North challenge, on Friday, January 26. Petoskey will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 68-29 non-league win over Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI).
