West Virginia High School Basketball - Summers County nudges Pocahontas County

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) basketball squad edged the host Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV), by a count of 51-47.

The Bobcats (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bluefield (Bluefield, WV). The Beavers go into the Coalfield AA outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Bluefield was tipped by Graham (Bluefield, VA), 41-32, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a Potomac Valley outing on Thursday, January 25. Pocahontas County will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 58-52 league loss to East Hardy (Baker, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.
