North Carolina High School Basketball - Lincoln Charter knocked off by Corvian Community

January 23, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28269

The Corvian Community Cardinals basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Lincoln Charter Eagles to 35 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Metrolina Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Corvian Community will meet a Warriors team coming off a 67-53 league loss to Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 5-12.

The Eagles (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Community School of Davidson ran past Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 54-27, in a non-league contest.
