January 23, 2025: Port Lavaca, TX 77979 Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX), 70-32 in a league match.
With the victory, Sinton advances its record to 6-17 on the year. The Pirates travel to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX) to face the Pirates in a 4A Region IV District 30 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 15-15. Rockport-Fulton won 75-38 in their recent league match against Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX)
The Sandcrabs now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockport-Fulton for a 4A Region IV District 30 match on Friday, January 24. Calhoun will face a Pirates squad coming off a 60-39 league win over Ingleside (Ingleside, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 14-15.
