South Dakota High School Basketball - Parker holds off Canton
January 23, 2025: Parker, SD 57053 The Parker Pheasants basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Canton C-Hawks to 46 in the Pheasants non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pheasants now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Flandreau for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Parker will confront a Fliers team coming off a 52-42 non-league win over McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD). The Fliers record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Canton falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The C-hawks travel to Beresford (Beresford, SD) to confront the Watchdogs in a A Region 4 game on Friday, January 24. The Watchdogs go into the game with a record of 6-3. Beresford won 68-64 in their recent non-league game against Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN)
