February 20, 2025: Canton, SD 57013 The Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) basketball were winner over the host Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD), 78-69 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Beavers now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Mitchell Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, February 28.
With the loss, Canton falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The C-hawks travel to Vermillion (Vermillion, SD) to play the Tanagers in a A Region 4 bout on Monday, February 24. The Tanagers go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Vermillion won 52-42 in their recent non-league bout against Ponca (Ponca, NE)
