January 23, 2025: Greenbelt, MD 20770 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders (Greenbelt, MD) and the visiting DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD), observed Eleanor Roosevelt's basketball team knock off DuVal by a score of 64-48.
The Raiders (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Northwestern dropped by Bowie (Bowie, MD), 91-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A challenge, on Monday, January 27. DuVal will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 89-47 league loss to Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD).
