Friendship Christian Spartans (Suwanee, GA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host North Georgia Christian Academy Knights (Ellijay, GA), 64-62 in a league match.

With the victory, Friendship Christian advances its record to 20-3 on the year. The Spartans host Crossroads Christian Academy (Canton, GA) to face the in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The enter the match with a record of 2-7. Crossroads Christian Academy lost 57-48 in their recent non-league match against War Hill Christian Academy (Dawsonville, GA)

The Knights now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Philadelphia Christian School for a GCAA Region I match on Tuesday, January 28.
