Idaho High School Basketball - Pocatello bested by Preston

Preston Indians (Preston, ID) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Pocatello Thunder (Pocatello, ID), 45-33 in a league match.

With the victory, Preston advances its record to 17-1 on the year. The Indians host Century (Pocatello, ID) to face the Diamondbacks in a 5A Central Idaho match on Wednesday, January 29. The Diamondbacks enter the match with a record of 10-6. Century won 77-60 in their recent non-league match against Idaho Falls (Idaho Falls, ID)

The Thunder now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rigby for a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. Pocatello will face a Trojans squad coming off a 61-44 league loss to Thunder Ridge (Idaho Falls, ID). The Trojans record now stands at 8-7.
