Iowa High School Basketball - Tripoli holds off West Central
January 23, 2025: Tripoli, IA 50676 The Tripoli Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting West Central Blue Devils to 49 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now have a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Dunkerton for a Iowa Star game on Friday, January 24. Tripoli will confront a Raiders team coming off a 85-28 non-league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, West Central falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Kee (Lansing, IA) to confront the Kee Hawks in a Upper Iowa game on Friday, January 24. The Kee Hawks go into the game with a record of 9-6. Kee won 65-32 in their recent non-league game against De Soto (De Soto, WI)
