Michigan High School Basketball - Almont trounced by Armada
January 23, 2025: Armada, MI 48005 Armada Tigers (Armada, MI) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Almont Raiders (Almont, MI), 72-41 in a league match.
With the victory, Armada advances its record to 11-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Yale (Yale, MI) to face the Bulldogs in a Blue Water Area match on Tuesday, January 28. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 12-2. Yale won 45-14 in their recent league match against Richmond (Richmond, MI)
The Raiders now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Croswell-Lexington for a Blue Water Area match on Tuesday, January 28. Almont will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 42-37 league win over North Branch (North Branch, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-2.
