The Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV) basketball crushed the visiting Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), 59-8 in Thursday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Western for a 4A Mountain bout on Tuesday, January 28. Cimarron-Memorial will play a Warriors team coming off a 40-28 league win over Green Valley (Henderson, NV). The Warriors record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Silverado falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Skyhawks travel to Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Diamondbacks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Diamondbacks go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Desert Oasis won 73-18 in their recent league bout against Clark (Las Vegas, NV)
