Delaware High School Basketball - Woodbridge bested by Delmar
January 23, 2025: Delmar, DE 19940 Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE) followers were in high spirits Thursday as they saw their basketball team beat the visiting Woodbridge Raiders (Bridgeville, DE), 41-23 in a league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Indian River for a Henlopen - Southern bout on Tuesday, January 28. Delmar will play a Indians team coming off a 37-25 league win over Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Indians record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Woodbridge falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE) to play the Seahawks in a Henlopen - Southern bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Sussex Academy lost 40-38 in their recent league bout against Laurel (Laurel, DE)
