The Sutton Mustangs basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Fairbury Jeffs to 33 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now have a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Milford for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Sutton will confront a Eagles team coming off a 58-35 non-league win over Beatrice (Beatrice, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 14-1.

With the loss, Fairbury falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Jeffs host Syracuse (Syracuse, NE) to confront the Rockets in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 6-7. Syracuse lost 69-45 in their recent non-league game against Arlington (Arlington, NE)
