In Thursday's league test, the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) basketball squad trounced the host Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), by a final score of 84-29.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) in a Freelance test, on Wednesday, January 29. George Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Flying Eagles come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 68-38 league loss to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).
