South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), 46-38 in a league match.

With the victory, South Charleston advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Black Eagles host Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to face the Redskins in a Mountain State match on Tuesday, January 21. The Redskins enter the match with a record of 11-0.

The Warriors now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodrow Wilson for a Freelance match on Tuesday, January 21. Riverside will face a Flying Eagles squad coming off a 62-36 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Flying Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
