West Virginia High School Basketball - Riverside thwarts Hoover

December 5, 2024: Belle, WV 25015

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) and the visiting Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), observed Riverside's basketball team knock off Hoover by a score of 59-39.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record.

In their next game, the Huskies encounter the Grace Christian (Huntington, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
